Travel Less

Kind of a crazy idea, to ask airline passengers to travel less. However, it was just the thing we needed to say to New Yorkers who suffered long commutes to LAG and JFK. American showed up with a solution (via a full-page ad in area newspapers) and started flying out of Stewart International Airport, a former military airport in Connecticut. This gave these beleagured folks a shorter commute. About the same time, Bob Crandall, the then-CEO of American, just happened to see it when he was flying for business to the Big Apple. He blew a gasket. "WHY are we telling people to travel LESS?" I'd say the copy was attention-getting, wouldn't you?

I am a "Creative." I love working with my hands, whether that means designing a website, making photographs, mixing music, or editing together a video.

One thing I have always enjoyed is solving puzzles. My passion for design not only comes from the visual standpoint of how something looks on the surface, but also how all of the individual pieces come together to form a larger picture and a successful storyteller.

Through the layout of a logo, the pacing of a video or even the code of a website, I enjoy all of the puzzles that I get to solve as a designer. Check out my work below and don't hesitate to contact me if you're ever looking for a helping hand.
